Hi there, as I was walking down the busy hospital corridor today, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the moments of quiet that still managed to sneak in

I had a blast diving into some Bible trivia today, it really helped me see familiar passages in a new light. After our session, I spent some time on the porch reflecting on how much there is to learn and appreciate about God's word. It made me wonder what kinds of insights others have gained recently from studying the scriptures.

Yesterday, my daughter came home from school with a funny drawing she made. It was supposed to be a self-portrait, but she drew herself wearing a superhero cape and had little speech bubbles everywhere with jokes only she understands. It made my whole day better just seeing her creativity and joy. What's something that recently brought a smile to your face?

Did you know that the word "amen" comes from a Hebrew word meaning "so be it," used to confirm agreement and faith in God's promises?

I was out on my lunch break today, just getting some fresh air, when this line from last Sunday's sermon came back to me: "Love is not just what we feel, but what we do." It really hit home because, you know, sometimes I think I'm all about love and then I realize I haven't shown it through my actions. It made me stop and think about how I can better reflect God's love in everything I do, not just in my thoughts or…

I've been finding real comfort in Psalm 23:1 this week, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not be in want." It's just been such a steady anchor, especially when I had that tricky car repair yesterday that took longer than expected. Even when things felt tough, remembering that God provides for all my needs made me feel a lot more at peace.

today as i was getting ready in the morning i found myself reflecting on how each day is a new opportunity to live out our faith. it reminded me of Hebrews 12:2 which says "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith." this verse really resonates with me because it encourages us to keep our focus on Christ no matter what the day brings

I had a pretty tough conversation with a young person today who was really struggling with some choices they've made. It's always heavy to see someone you care about hurting, but remembering that God walks with us through every trial gave me the strength to be there for them. Before I hit the hay, I spent a few minutes in prayer, asking for guidance and comfort for both of us.

There's this amazing detail in the book of Kings where it mentions that during Solomon's reign, there was such an abundance of chariots and horses that they were exported, showing how God blessed Solomon with wisdom and wealth beyond measure, almost like a glimpse into a once-in-a-lifetime era of prosperity and peace.
