Church vs Church: the public battles coming up, in your time.
Each church's best players count: as many as the smaller church brings.
Each member answers the same questions on their own phone, 15 seconds each. A right answer is worth 100 points plus up to 50 for speed; several in a row make a combo that multiplies up to ×3.
The church scores the AVERAGE of its top N. N = the number of players the smaller church brings (at least 3, at most 15). It isn't a total, or the bigger church would always win. And it isn't everyone's average, or bringing newcomers and kids would hurt.
Church A brings 20 and church B brings 6: N = 6. A's top 6 face B's 6: average 372 against 365, A wins. A's other players play and earn their points, but don't tip the scale.
First, more points from those N; then, more right answers; then, less average time to answer right. If all is equal, it's a tie.
If one side brings fewer than 3, it's still played but it's a friendly: it doesn't count for the ranking or the week. Accounts under 7 days old play and score, but don't count for N.
+3 to their week for playing, +5 if their church wins and they were in the top N, and +5 to each church's MVP. Battle points also raise their rank.
Battle points: beating a church ranked higher is worth more, and beating the same one over and over barely adds anything. Churches enter the ranking from their 3rd battle on.
Each group can launch 1 scheduled battle at a time and 2 a month for free. Accepting a challenge is always free. With the church plan there's no limit.
